- This hadith is a narration recorded in Sahih Muslim, one of the most authentic collections of Hadith in Islam. According to this hadith, a person came to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and addressed him with the title “O the best of creation.” In response, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that the true owner of this title is Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). The hadith indicates that while Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was undoubtedly a great and noble Prophet, he recognized the excellence and superiority of the Prophets who came before him.
