📖Sahih Muslim 2622
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace he upon him) as saying: Many a person with disheveled hair and covered with dust is turned away from the doors (whereas he is held in such a high esteem by Allah) that if he were to adjure in the name of Allah (about anything) Allah would fulfil that.
- This hadith from Sahih Muslim 2622 teaches us that appearances can be deceiving and that we should not judge people based solely on their external appearance. Even if someone appears disheveled and dirty, they may be highly respected in the sight of Allah. We should treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of their appearance or social status. The hadith also highlights the power of supplication and the fact that Allah is always ready to answer the prayers of those who call upon Him, regardless of their social standing or external appearance.
