📖Sahih Muslim 2582
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: “Rights will certainly be restored to those entitled to them on the Day of Resurrection, (to the point that) even the hornless sheep will lay claim upon the horned one.”
- This hadith from Sahih Muslim 2582, refers to the concept of justice and fairness that will be established on the Day of Resurrection. According to this hadith, every person and even animals will receive their due rights, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. The example of a hornless sheep laying claim upon a horned one is used to illustrate this point. The hornless sheep is seen as weaker and more vulnerable, while the horned sheep is stronger and more powerful. However, on the Day of Resurrection, even the hornless sheep will be able to assert its rights and claim what is rightfully its own, despite being weaker than the horned one. This hadith emphasizes the importance of justice and fairness in Islam and assures believers that, no matter how insignificant their claims may seem, they will be given their due rights on the Day of Resurrection. It also highlights the accountability and responsibility of individuals towards their actions and treatment of others, including animals.
