📖Sahih al-Bukhari 3026
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Do not wish to meet the enemy, but when you meet face) the enemy, be patient.”
- This hadith teaches us that war and conflict should be avoided if possible, and that Muslims should not actively seek out fighting. However, if they are faced with an enemy, they should remain patient and composed, and not act out of anger or fear. This hadith encourages Muslims to adopt a peaceful and measured approach to conflict resolution, and to prioritize peaceful solutions whenever possible.
