📖Sahih Muslim 2631
Malik reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He, who brought up two girls properly till they grew up, he and I would come (together) (very closely) on the Day of Resurrection, and he interlaced his fingers (for explaining the point of nearness between him and that person).
- This hadith encourages parents, particularly fathers, to treat their daughters with kindness and respect, and to provide them with a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development. It highlights the significance of raising daughters as a means of earning Allah’s blessings and rewards in the hereafter. It is also a reminder that both genders are equal in the eyes of Allah, and that raising daughters with love and care is a virtuous act that brings us closer to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and to Allah.
