Human Senses in the Quran
Quran 76:2
Sahih International
Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
Quran 23:78
And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.
The Quran also mention the human senses, specifically sight, hearing, and touch. For example, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 164, it says: “From among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is indeed Him that you worship.”
In Surah Al-An’am, verse 46, it says: “And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.”
In Surah Al-Nahl, verse 78, it says: “And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.”
