Near Death Experience
In Islam, death is seen as a natural part of life and a transition from the physical world to the spiritual world. Muslims believe that the soul continues to exist after death and will be judged by God on the Day of Judgment. The soul will either go to paradise (Jannah) or hell (Jahannam) based on the deeds performed during life. It is believed that death is the moment of truth, where the soul will face the consequences of its actions and the soul will be questioned about its deeds. The soul will be shown its place in the afterlife, either in paradise or in hell, It is also believed that the deceased person’s good deeds can act as an intercessor for them on the Day of Judgment. Muslims also practice the tradition of praying for the deceased, known as Salat al-Janazah, which is performed for the forgiveness of the dead person, Muslims also believe that death is a reminder of the ultimate goal of life, which is to seek the pleasure of God and to prepare for the afterlife. Muslims are encouraged to live their lives in accordance with Islamic principles and to be mindful of their actions, as they will ultimately be accountable to God.
