Indeed your Lord is ALLAH, Who created the heavens and the earth in SIX DAYS and then He rose over the “THRONE” really in a matter that suits His Majesty. He covers the night with the day, seeking it rapidly, and He created the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. “SURELY, HIS IS THE CREATION AND COMMANDMENT”.
Blessed be ALLAH, THE LORD OF THE MANKIND AND ALL THAT EXISTS.
Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and was not wearied by their creation, is Able to give life to the dead? Yes, He surely is Able to do all things.
Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it.
And they (Jews, Christians) say: ALLAH HAS BEGOTTEN A SON. GLORY BE TO HIM. EXALTED HE ABOVE ALL THAT THEY ASSOCIATE WITH HIM. Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience in worship to Him.
THE ORIGINATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it “KUN FAYAKUN!” – and it is.
And even if We had sent down to them (to disbelievers) angels, and dead had spoken to them, and We had gathered together all things before their very eyes, they would not have believed, unless Allah willed, but most of them behave ignorantly.
Say (O Prophet Muhammad) “Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an),explained in detail.” Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) know that it is REVEALED FROM YOUR LORD IN TRUTH. So be not of you of those who doubt.
And the Word of your Lord has fulfilled in Truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens his breast to ISLAM, and whosoever He wills to send astray, “HE MAKES HIS BREAST CLOSED AND CONSTRICTED AS IF HE IS CLIMBING UP TO THE SKY.”* Thus Allah puts the wrath on those who believe not.

SCIENTIFIC MIRACLE:
1. When people first heard of the verse of man’s climbing to sky (space) , they considered it as a sort of imagination, and that Quran regards the ascension to space in a metaphorical manner. Actually the verse is a prophecy that came true centuries after it was first revealed.
2- The similitude is very accurate, as climbing to high distances in the air causes chest tightness and the feeling of suffocation. The more the ascension increases, the more tightness reaches so critical and difficult stage that respiration is not possible any more. That’s why oxygen cylinders are taken when ascending up the sky, as in space ships !
(We are now able to explain this verse on the basis of our knowledge. It is now common knowledge that Air Pressure at higher altitudes is lower than that at sea level. Earth is sorrounded by a blanket of air. Human lungs operate via a pressure gradient. When Oxygen decreases, as it does at higher altitudes, it becomes more difficult to breath. This leads to the feeling of the construction of a breast as
stated in this verse of the Qur’an. It is a miracle of the Qur’an that it stated this fact long before the human mind could even conceive it.)

“We will show them OUR SIGNS in the UNIVERSE, and in their OWN SELVES until it becomes manifest to them that this QUR’AN IS THE TRUTH. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things.”
