📖Sahih Muslim 2817 c
Jabir reported: I heard Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: None of you would get into Paradise because of his good deeds alone, and he would not be rescued from Fire, not even I, but because of the Mercy of Allah.
- This hadith highlights that no one can enter Paradise based solely on their good deeds, and even the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) cannot guarantee salvation from the Hellfire. Instead, it is only through the mercy and forgiveness of Allah that one can hope to attain salvation. This emphasizes the importance of seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness, in addition to performing good deeds.
