📖Sahih Muslim 2732 a
Abu Dharr reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: There is no believing servant who supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence) that the Angels do not say: The same be for you too.
- This hadith from Sahih Muslim 2732a, teaches us the importance of making supplication (dua) for our fellow believers. It is narrated by Abu Dharr that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that when a believer makes a supplication for another believer in his absence, the angels respond to the supplication by saying “Amen. And for you, too, the same.” This hadith emphasizes the significance of making dua for others and the reward that comes with it. It also shows that the angels are involved in our affairs and respond to our supplications. Therefore, we should strive to supplicate for our brothers and sisters in faith, even if they are not present with us, as this is a way to show our love and care for them, and it can also bring blessings and benefits to ourselves.
