📖Sahih al-Bukhari 7274
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There was no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection.”
The Quran is considered a miracle for several reasons:
- Firstly, it contains knowledge and wisdom that could not have been known to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) or to any human being of his time, such as details about the creation of the universe and human beings, scientific facts, and moral teachings.
- Secondly, the beauty and eloquence of the Quran’s language is considered a miracle. It is said that the Quran’s poetic style, its use of literary devices, and its rhythmic patterns are unmatched by any other form of human expression.
- Thirdly, the Quran’s impact on people’s lives and the transformative effect it has had on individuals and societies throughout history is also considered miraculous.
In summary, the Quran is considered the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) because of its unparalleled knowledge, beauty, and impact. It is a source of guidance and inspiration for Muslims and is regarded as a timeless and universal message from God to all of humanity.
