📖Sunan an-Nasa’i 4096
It was narrated that Abu Ja’far said: “I was sitting with Suwaid bin Muqarrin, and he said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: “Whoever is killed defending himself against injustice, he is a martyr.”
- This hadith in Sunan an-Nasa’i 4096 narrates that Suwaid bin Muqarrin reported that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said that anyone who is killed while defending themselves against injustice is considered a martyr in Islam. This means that if a person is faced with oppression or harm and uses self-defense to protect themselves, and they end up losing their life in the process, they will be rewarded by Allah as a martyr. This hadith highlights the importance of standing up against oppression and defending oneself in Islam, and encourages Muslims to have the courage to fight against injustice when necessary.
