📖Sunan Ibn Majah 4113
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “This world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.’”
- The meaning of the hadith is that this world, with all its challenges, limitations, and trials, is like a prison for the believers. Believers are expected to endure hardships, exercise patience, and adhere to their faith despite the difficulties they may face. On the other hand, for disbelievers who reject or ignore the truth, this world may seem like a paradise because they indulge in worldly pleasures without being held accountable for their actions in the afterlife.
